Back when Disneyland first opened in 1955, it was a very special occasion to go. Men arrived looking dapper, and women had on their Sunday best. As time went on, people traded in fashion for comfort, loafers for sneakers and dresses for jeans. And there is nothing wrong with that at all. Anyone who has spent all day walking around one of Walt's theme parks knows that comfort can be crucial to enjoying your day.

But there is a new trend growing. More than ever now, Disney parks are seeing a growing culture of excellent food, delicious drinks and unique fashion all of it's own. Jeans and tees are being replaced with skirts and ties. The burgers and fries are being traded for tasty nibbles and amazing meals. And what was once a dry land with sugary sodas as your only option, now is a land flowing with new beverages, both boozy and kid-friendly.

This blog will explore the unique fashions I see in and around the park. We will explore new and classic menu items and sip on the libations found in the resort. Not every outfit will be high fashion and not every mean will be haute cuisine... but isn't that just the spice of life? Finding what you love and making it work for you.
